Why does this site exist?

It exists to show how far AI technology has come. Every day, a new model regenerates this page from scratch, and every day it looks different.

The Experiment

One idea, many versions

This site is a living demonstration of what AI models can do. Each day, a fresh generation creates new content, new layouts, and new design choices for this page. There is no template. There is no hand-editing. An AI model reads the requirements and produces something that has never existed before.

Two pages, two directions

The main page (index.html) is styled in a Windows 95 theme. It is personal, nostalgic, and detailed. The page you are on right now (“why”) takes a completely different approach—dark, modern, and atmospheric. That contrast is intentional. It shows how much range AI has in handling different visual identities.

The point is simple: an AI model can take a brief, understand it, and produce a complete, self-contained website from scratch. Not a template. Not a copy. Something new.

The Person

Mark is a real person

Mark Parsons is a real computer technician based in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. He repairs computers. He helps people with technology. He has been doing this for a long time. This site is about him, and it is built with care for him.

A computer geek who loves to help people

Mark is a computer geek. He has been running Linux since 1995, starting with Slackware on floppy disks. He loves darts, pool, and the old days of computing—the Atari 2600, the Atari 800XL, Windows 95. But above all, he loves helping people figure things out.

“I have two nephews who I consider the best nephews in the entire world.”

How this page is made

Every element on this page—the text, the layout, the CSS styling, the animations—was generated by an AI model. The page content is regenerated daily, which means tomorrow this page will look different. The structure may be similar, but the colors, wording, and design choices will change.

No templates, no hand-editing

There are no pre-built themes, no HTML templates, and no manual editing. An AI model reads a set of requirements and writes a complete HTML file from scratch. That file is then hosted online. That is the entire process.

If you want to understand what AI can do today, look at this page. Then go to the history page and see every version that came before it. Each one is unique.
